05/31/2023 update -- I wanted to come back and leave an update after a few more sessions with Dr. Jean. After only 3 weeks post surgery - 3 weeks!! - my orthopedic surgeon was amazed with my progress and range of motion in my knee. He told me I could stop wearing the brace (this usually takes a couple of months I have been told). Because of the great work of Dr. Jean, I am walking normally and have almost full function back in my knee. Dr. Jean cares about what he does and his patients. I recommend Dr. Jean to everyone that needs physical therapy of rehab. His care is outstanding. I seriously could not be more impressed. If I could leave 10 stars out of 5, I would. Dr. Jean (and his office staff) are simply outstanding. I am seeing Dr. Jean after having my knee rebuilt after an accident. This is the best Physical Therapy session I have ever attended. Dr. Jean explained many details about my knee and the surgery that no one else had explained to me. This allowed me to much better understand my situation and how to best proceed. He spent a lot of time with me, answered all of my questions patiently, and got me started on a stretching regimen that helped immediately. It became very obvious that he sincerely loves what he does, and he does it very well. I will recommend Dr. Jean to everyone I know.

I was recommended to Dr. Jean after 3 falls in 3 months as a result of balance problems. In one fall on the tennis court I jammed my shoulder. We worked on the balance problem first and his therapy restored my stability and I have not fallen since. We then started on the shoulder. I am back on the court and without pain. I could not recommend him and his office more highly, including his receptionist, Sheri, who is most helpful and sweet as she can be.

Dr. Jean is the best physical therapist in Naples. After coming off of a labrum injury I was unable to train in my sport. However, with Dr. Jean's help I was able to come back better than before. I owe a lot to Active Motion PT and can't thank them enough for helping me get back into doing what I love. Thanks Dr. Jean!

Dr Dornevil is competent and proficient, very professional to say the least. He took time to educate me on my knee condition (torn meniscus) and provided with the best service that lead to a smooth recovery. Highly recommended.

Dr. Jean, or as I call him JD really was the best physical therapist to work on my revision total knee replacement. Thankfully after a year-and-a-half of that operation and the care and therapy from JD, dr. Jean, I am walking normal again and without knee pain.

I highly recommend Dr. Jean. He has worked miracles on my shoulder. I have been to other physical therapist before, they were not as caring and patient. If you need physical therapy, Aktive Motion is the best.

J D has a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. We were so fortunate to be lucky enough to find him after my husband fractured his pelvis while we were staying in Naples. Coming from a former rehab nurse, I felt very safe with him. For 1:1 therapy with a therapist with a doctorate, this is the place.

I am so grateful for Dr Jean ,being with chronic back pain for a while and taking pain meds but unfortunately all them are temporary effects. Then my husband suggested I come to Aktive Motion physical therapy; one of the best decisions I made…with his help I was able to have long term relief. He loves what he does and you can feel it as he providing the care. He takes his time to educate and making sure I understand the effectiveness of his treatment. Thank you Dr Jean.
